I can't decide on a favorite character for this series, but she certainly comes close. Oddly enough the males actually hold their own for once in these girl dominated shows! That scaredy mongoose Sunil and Russel. IDK I think they are all pretty equal for the most part. But Pepper and Sunil are standing out for me a bit more.
Yeah, I really got that feel too (gender neutral aspect) when watching the show more. Vinnie's dance and acceptance of his slowness is done in such a modest way. Least compared to MLP Snails. I don't feel he's less of a character than the other dudes. I can certainly see why he'd be a contender with all his silly dances and the way his down to earth 'all too obvious' way of pointing things out that usually don't need to be. ha xD
This show certainly feels like it came in a time when MLP was sort of going away from being about lessons all the time and does a better job at trying to do what S1 mlp had originally set out to do. It doesn't exactly try to be subtle or too clever with its meanings, which I guess is why I think it is such a great show for the kids but yet still doesn't feel like it's talking down to them.
LPS really earned my respect in that it tried to tell fun tales and pass on a good lesson or two that is usually told between two different perspective, the animals and the humans. I think it's pretty clever that way. I hope it lasts longer than that Pound Puppies show, it deserves it.
LPS definitely gave me that colorful, exciting feeling the same way MLP gave, and i found LPS to be more relaxing
I'm not sure if LPS delivers any morals/lessons in the show, I tried to watch again and look for them, but it just confuses me, like Penny for your laughs. The twins obviously wants to be friends, but i guess that's how middle schoolers act when they see someone who they think is a bitch. anyway i don't care if the show has lessons or not, its pretty funny as the episode goes
Yeah, I guess I made too much comparison to the 'lessons' aspect. It does have simple ones, but not told in letters. More like common sense in everyday life situation people deal with.
The twins are adorable. The flighty one seems to be the easiest of the two that would get along with Penny. They have such a problem doing anything outside of being around each other though, the twins of course, but so far it does seem clear they want to make the twins more than just one-dimensional bullies. They may be bitchy, but they just have different upbringings is all.
In short, I like that it doesn't try to be more than it has to be. A simply fun and simple amusement part ride over the super flashy super fast tall spirally ride that everyone says you *have* to go on.
In any case, love your art. Hope to see more be it whatever it may be, HUB shows or not!
