I can't decide on a favorite character for this series, but she certainly comes close. Oddly enough the males actually hold their own for once in these girl dominated shows! That scaredy mongoose Sunil and Russel. IDK I think they are all pretty equal for the most part. But Pepper and Sunil are standing out for me a bit more.

I think LPS is more gender neutral [than mlp] (at least from my point of view)
I love pepper from the very beginning. but i think Vinnie is climbing up to take that place of hers

Yeah, I really got that feel too (gender neutral aspect) when watching the show more.
Vinnie's dance and acceptance of his slowness is done in such a modest way. Least compared to MLP Snails. I don't feel he's less of a character than the other dudes. I can certainly see why he'd be a contender with all his silly dances and the way his down to earth 'all too obvious' way of pointing things out that usually don't need to be. ha xD

This show certainly feels like it came in a time when MLP was sort of going away from being about lessons all the time and does a better job at trying to do what S1 mlp had originally set out to do. It doesn't exactly try to be subtle or too clever with its meanings, which I guess is why I think it is such a great show for the kids but yet still doesn't feel like it's talking down to them.

LPS really earned my respect in that it tried to tell fun tales and pass on a good lesson or two that is usually told between two different perspective, the animals and the humans. I think it's pretty clever that way. I hope it lasts longer than that Pound Puppies show, it deserves it.
