wondering why she's slightly smiling, and has her 'season 2' mane, to be honest, I don't even know, I just think she's a bit thrilled that there's more than one, and the mane I just wanted this one to be different than the last, besides the background, (This ones a girl! and she's an alicorn! Yay)and Celestia probably already told her, about both Blueblood and Cadence before Luna Eclipse//or Luna discovers them herself,
I always picture Luna would walk around the kingdom asking "Who's that?" well whichever fits your personal headcanon, I can go with both.

Hasbro and other official media did.
According to the novel, Cadence was a pegasus turned into an alicorn and Celestia adopted her
